She made a name for herself for playing the role of Thelema Duke in the MNET soap opera Tinsel. In 2011 she won the Nigerian Entertainment Award for Best Actress in a TV series.
Damilola left Tinsel in 2012. The following year she starred in ‘ Flower Girl ’.
In 2014 she got engaged to fellow Tinsel actor Chris Attoh. They welcomed a baby boy in the same year, and got married in 2015.
