Akerele narrated her experience on a private radio station in the state and stated how she had gone to him for spiritual assistance while suffering from chronic cough only for him to get her pregnant in the process.
Pastor Olakunle who was in charge of the branch of the CAC in Iju town in the Akure North Local Government Area of the state, was also called by the station to state his side of the story and he confessed that he used to pray for women while in the nude and that he also had sexual intercourse with Akerele's younger sister while also praying for their mother naked as well.
In a swift reaction to the monumental scandal, the church body moved quickly to sack the randy Pastor Olakunle who is said to belong to the World Evangelistic Ministry, of the CAC which was founded by late Pastor Timothy Obadare.
A member of the board of the church who did not want to disclose his name, confirmed that the eandy Pastor Olakunle has been sacked with immediate effect following the unsavoury scandal which can dent the image of the church.
The source added that the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Paul Obadare, would soon come out and say the position of the church on the matter.
“Immediately after the incident occurred and the church knew about it, he (Mathew) was transferred out of the town to our church in Ilorin, but I want to confirm to you that he has been expelled.
The leader of the church, Pastor Paul Obadare is not around now and I am sure he would have been informed about the incident, when he comes around, then he will address the press to tell the world about the step the church had taken on the matter.
But I am sure the pastor has been expelled.”
Recall that Akerele placed the crash of her marriage on Pastor Olakunle whom she said impregnated her and she had to do an abortion without her husband's knowledge and when he found out, he promptly sent her packing.
